Accident In Gangolihat, Pithoragarh, Car Fell Into A Ditch; Death Of Two

The car lost control and fell into a ditch about a kilometer below the road.

Jagran correspondent, Pithoragarh. In village Boyal, district Pithoragarh, about 18 kilometers from Gangolihat tehsil headquarters, a Swift car number UK-05 TA-5117 suddenly went out of control and fell into a ditch about one km below the road.

On information, the police, under the leadership of Inspector-in-charge Kailash Joshi and SI Narendra Pathak, reached the spot and with the help of villagers, Shivnath son of Prem Nath, aged about 65 years, resident of the car, Boyal was taken out of the ditch and sent to Community Health Center Gangolihat through 108.

Shiv Nath son of Premnath died while being brought to the Community Health Center and the driver Bhopal Singh son of Sher Singh, aged about 35 years, resident of village Boyal, died on the spot. Both residents are residents of Boyle. In the said accident, the parts of the vehicle were blown away.

The police is filling the Panchayat Nama and preparing for the post-mortem. Both the people were going towards their home in Boyal from the local Chowpata town. The accident occurred before reaching home. Bhupal Singh has a son aged about 6 years. Shivnath has two sons and two daughters. All are married.
