Jagran correspondent, Meerut. The Railway Road Police has arrested the accused who committed theft in an electrical shop under the Maliyana bridge. The police have also recovered the stolen goods from the possession of the accused.
Shanky Garg, resident of Naval Vihar, Baghpat Road, TP Nagar, has a shop in the name of Garg Electricals under Maliana bridge in Railway Road police station area. He works in making electrical switches and circuits. Last Saturday, Shanky Garg had closed his shop and returned home.
When he reached the shop on Monday due to Sunday being the weekly holiday of the market, the goods were scattered. The thieves had stolen 50 box switches and copper wire from the shop.
On Friday, police exposed the theft and arrested Ashish son Dharampal alias Babli, resident of Shera Ka Chowk, Kishanpur police station, Tipi Nagar. Police have recovered the stolen goods from the possession of the accused.
