Accused in police custody
Jagran correspondent, Rampur. In Bilaspur, the police has arrested a quack accused of stripping a woman and doing obscene acts in the name of health checkup. The woman's husband had lodged a report of this incident on Monday.
A woman from a village in the Kotwali area alleges that when her health deteriorated, she went to the village quack to get medicine. The quack took him inside his cabin on the pretext of investigation.
After this he stripped her and started doing obscene acts. When the woman raised an alarm, the villagers gathered at the spot. The victim's husband had filed an FIR against the accused.
In-charge Inspector Balwan Singh said that the accused quack Abid alias Zubair, resident of Hamidabad village, has been arrested from the bypass near Uttarakhand.
