Under Mera Gaon Mera MNREGA, Annapurna stores are being constructed in five gram panchayats of every development block. The constructed stores are allotted to the tenants. The cost of one store is approximately Rs 8.5 lakh 46 thousand.
75 stores were built in the year 2023. 42 have been completed in 2024. 75 stores were to be constructed under MNREGA in 2025, but this construction could not be done due to lack of budget. Now 50 Annapurna stores will also be made from the fulfillment department. Everyone's land has been marked.
District Supply Officer Dr. Rakesh Kumar Tiwari said that now Annapurna will be prepared and given by the Supply Department along with MNREGA. To reduce the expenses of fair rate vendors, their shop rent burden is being reduced. For this, every Kotedar is being given a shop. This shop will be allotted to government galley only. Now the shops will not be changed when the Kotdar is changed.
139 shops where vehicles cannot reach
Under Door Step Delivery, ration is to be delivered to the doorstep of every resident. Some shops are not accessible by vehicles, the distance to some shops is 200, the distance to many proper vendors is around 500. Shops have been marked, in which about 139 shops in the district where vehicles cannot reach, small vehicles should be installed or Annapurna stores should be constructed.
