Ghaziabad is the third most polluted city in the country.

Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. After Noida and Delhi, the air in the district remains the worst in the country. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ghaziabad's average AQI was recorded at 392 on Tuesday. With this, it was the third most polluted city in the country. At the same time, Vasundhara's AQI 454 remained in the serious category. Noida stood first with 426 AQI and Delhi stood second with 412 AQI.

The air of the district is sometimes in severe and sometimes very poor category. The AQI of the district was recorded at 404 in the severe category at 2 pm on Tuesday. After this, at 4 pm the average AQI, after some relief, remained at 392 in the very poor category. The AQI level keeps going up and down throughout the day, but no relief is available.

The last time the wind was in severe category was on December 15. Since then it has remained in very poor category. Apart from this, except Vasundhara, the air of Loni, Sanjay Nagar and Indirapuram remains in very poor category. People are not getting relief from pollution.
