After regaining consciousness, the victim of molestation narrated her ordeal on the fourth day.
Jagran Correspondent, Baraut (Baghpat): When the molestation victim regained consciousness on the fourth day after consuming poison in a village in the area, she narrated her ordeal to her relatives. On this the relative filed a complaint against the accused in the police station. The police have taken the accused Muslim youth into custody and started interrogation.
The victim's brother told the police that the accused Parvez is a resident of the village, who is after his sister. Even six months ago, the accused had molested her sister and circulated the photos and videos on the internet media. After registering the report, the police arrested the accused. The victim told that on December 22, late in the evening, his sister had gone to the shop to buy goods. On the way, the accused pulled her into a house and molested her and performed obscene acts. She somehow escaped from the clutches and reached home. Due to mental breakdown and depression, he consumed poisonous substance. When her relatives returned home, she was in a semi-conscious state. He was feeling nauseous.
They admitted him to a hospital in Meerut. When he regained consciousness on December 26, he narrated the entire incident. When he felt comfortable, he brought him home and filed a complaint against the accused in the police station on 27 December. Kotwali in-charge Manoj Kumar Chahal says that the youth accused in this incident is being interrogated.
