Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. Amidst the political turmoil across the country regarding Special Intensive Review (SIR), VHP is going to put forward the demand of National Register of Citizens (NRC), on which there will be a special discussion in the meeting of saints across the country.
It is possible that the pressure on the central government may be increased by bringing a proposal related to it in a meeting led by enlightened saints from across the country. A two-day meeting of the Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal, the highest decision-making body in VHP, is being held in Delhi on 9th and 10th December, in which there will be special brainstorming on the demand of NRC.
Government control over temples will also be discussed
Similarly, discussions are also scheduled on population imbalance in the districts of border states, giving impetus to the campaign to liberate temples from government control and other issues. This meeting will be held at Baba Natha Singh Vatika located in Punjabi Bagh, in which more than 400 enlightened people of Sant Samaj from across the country will participate.
Political turmoil continues across the country regarding SIR. Opposition parties are raising questions on this process of the Election Commission and are calling it targeting their voters. Many parties including Trinamool are calling SIR as the first step towards implementing NRC.
The country became home to infiltrators
Meanwhile, VHP has also geared up citing the security and integrity of the country. He has made preparations to push forward the demand for NRC. General Secretary of All India Sant Samiti, Swami Jitendranand Saraswati said that the country has become the home of infiltrators, who are causing conspiracies and demographic changes in the country.
Similarly, in the meeting, issues like misleading and provoking Muslims across the country and spoiling the environment of the country will be discussed in detail and a strategy will also be made in this regard. A campaign will also be decided regarding the mandatory requirement of Religious Freedom Bill (Law) in the Center and States and the worsening of Hindu youth due to the alarming increasing trend of drug addiction.
