The police administration talked to Mahila Congress state president Jyoti Rautela and other women leaders who were going to submit a memorandum to Home Minister Amit Shah. After this, Jyoti Rautela submitted a memorandum to SDM Sadar Jitendra Kumar in the name of Home Minister Amit Shah.

In this, demands were made for impartial CBI investigation of Ankita Bhandari murder case, CBI investigation of Sukhwant murder case of Udham Singh Nagar, suspension of SSP Manikant Mishra and registration of a case against Girdhari Lal Sahu, husband of Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya, for making objectionable remarks on the women of Bihar.

Jyoti Rautela and her two companions were stopped by the police at night in Shyampur area. After stopping him on the highway for several hours, he was sent to Haridwar with the police late at night.

While talking to the media after giving a memorandum to the SDM during talks in a hotel in Sidcul area, Jyoti Rautela also accused the police of illegally detaining her.
