AQI Remains Lowest In Ghaziabad In 84 Days, Further Improvement Expected In Next Few Days

The AQI in Ghaziabad was the lowest in the last 84 days.

Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. The people of the city found the AQI to be the lowest in the last 84 days. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), AQI was recorded at 203 on Saturday. Earlier on October 31, AQI was recorded at 177. Sanjay Nagar got the most relief. The AQI here was recorded at 138 in the moderate category.

AQI 278 was recorded on Friday. There has been a continuous decline in AQI since the rains. People are expected to get more relief in the next day or two. The AQI dropped further at 5:00 pm on Saturday. AQI was recorded at 196.

Ankit Singh, regional officer of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, says that the dust particles are washed away by the rain. This reduces pollution. There will be relief from pollution for a few days. He said that work is also being done at our own level to prevent pollution. Five teams have been deployed in more polluted areas.

Maximum relief to the people of Sanjay Nagar

Pollution measuring instruments have been installed in Indirapuram, Vasundhara, Loni and Sanjay Nagar in the district. Of these, the people of Sanjay Nagar got the most relief. The AQI here was recorded in the moderate category. Apart from this, the air of other areas was recorded in poor category.
