According to the weather department, under the influence of two consecutive Western Disturbances, light to moderate rain/snow is likely over the Western Himalayan region on February 2 and 3, along with isolated rain over adjoining Northwest and Central India.
In which states will it rain?
The states where IMD has predicted rain include Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, East Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Alert in these states on 2 and 3 February
On February 2 and 3, there is a possibility of rain with thunder, lightning and strong wind speed up to 50 kmph over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. At the same time, on February 2, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with wind speed of 50 km per hour in UP, Punjab, Haryana, East Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Fog may be seen in some districts of Uttar Pradesh and rain may be seen in some districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain, hailstorm and lightning in the state today. At the same time, dense fog will also prevail in some districts.
Weather condition of Madhya Pradesh
Changes are also being seen in the weather of Madhya Pradesh. Today, there may be heavy rain and hailstorm in many areas. The districts of MP where there is a possibility of rain include Rajgarh Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur Kalan, Rewa, Maihar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna and Mauganj.

There may be rain and snowfall again in the higher reaches on the night of February 2. On February 3, there will be light rain at many places and snowfall in high altitude areas. How will the weather be in Himachal?
February has started with snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Shilaru in Shimla district and Kothi in Kullu received 5 cm snowfall. At the same time, Manali received maximum rainfall of 10 mm. Due to which the tourist places of Manali have improved. Rain and snowfall may continue at some places in the state in the coming days.
The effect of western disturbance is also being seen in Rajasthan. On Sunday, light rain was recorded in many districts including Kotputli-Behror in the morning. There is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in many areas on 2 and 3 February.
If we talk about the weather of Punjab, there may be rain in 9 districts on Monday. At the same time, yellow alert has been issued regarding smog in 11 districts. Apart from this, the effect of western disturbance is also being seen in Haryana. Heavy hail fell here last Saturday.
