Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. Teachers' organizations took to the streets in connection with the deadly attack on Director Ajay Kumar Naudiyal, assault and vandalism of the personnel at the Directorate of Elementary Education, Nanurkheda.
The organizations blocked the Nanurkheda-based directorate and surrounded the Raipur police station. The teachers created ruckus on the road for about four hours. Later, he calmed down after a case was registered against the MLA.
On Saturday afternoon, the MLA and his supporters entered the room of the Education Director and abused, attacked the employees, and vandalized them. Education Director Ajay Kumar also got injured in this.
He was admitted to Coronation Hospital. When the video of the incident quickly circulated on the internet media, teachers from various places gathered outside the directorate and blocked it.
After this, there was a lot of ruckus by gheraoing the Raipur police station demanding action from the police against the MLA and his supporters.
Seeing the teachers' demonstration, the police registered a case against the MLA and his supporters, after which the teachers calmed down and returned to their homes. He warned that if action was not taken against the MLA and his supporters, a movement would be started by taking to the streets.
