Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. The city Kotwali police has registered a case against an unknown person who sent an email to the District Judge threatening a bomb blast.

The case has been registered on the complaint of Neeraj Shukla, Assistant Nazir, District Court. In this case, police and STF teams are gathering information about the person sending the email.

In the complaint given to the police, Neeraj Shukla said that on the official email of the District Court, Dehradun, threatening messages have been received about bomb blasts at various places of the District Court, Dehradun on 17 February and 19 February.

Due to this, the functioning of the court was affected and an atmosphere of panic was created. SP City Pramod Kumar said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against unknown person. A letter has also been written to STF to trace the email.

Security agency not serious about security in court

Despite receiving emails threatening bomb blasts at various places of District Court, Dehradun, the security agencies are not looking serious.

Although there was no crowd in the court on Saturday, only one gate was open. The exit gate was closed. In such a situation, there is only one way to enter and exit the court.

In such a situation, if someone has to run outside in an emergency, how will he run? Apart from this, no security personnel were seen deployed for checking.

Such emails have been sent across the country.

SSP STF Ajay Singh said that such emails have been sent all over the country. Such mails are sent from servers which are not so easy to trace. STF is seriously investigating this matter.
