There will be no water supply in many areas of Delhi on 20th and 21st December.
Digital Desk, New Delhi. Delhi Jal Board has issued an important information. Interconnection work of 1000 mm diameter is going on in Palam main pipeline under Nangal flyover. Due to this, from December 20, 2025 to December 21, 2025, water supply in many areas will be completely stopped or will be available at low pressure. The Board has expressed regret for this inconvenience.
The affected areas include Delhi Cantt (MES), Sagarpur, Dabri, Durga Park, NDMC area, R.K. Puram, Moti Bagh, Nanak Pura, Vasant Vihar, Vasant Enclave, Shanti Niketan, Westend Colony, AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital and its surrounding areas. All these fall under the command area of Palam Reservoir.

The Water Board has made arrangements to provide tankers in case water is needed in case of emergency. People can call the concerned water emergency control room and ask for a tanker.
