Sarai Rohila Express delayed by three hours due to chain pulling in Abohar

Jagran correspondent, Abohar. The engine power of the Sarai Rohilla Express train going from Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Bikaner failed due to chain pulling by a passenger. Due to this, the train had to stand at Abohar railway station for about three hours.

During this period the passengers had to face a lot of trouble. Passengers had to wait for hours on the platform in the harsh cold, while many passengers reached their destination much later than the scheduled time. After this, new power was ordered and the vehicle was sent.

According to the information, this train was to leave from Abohar railway station at around 5:45 in the morning, but after the incident of pulling the emergency chain, there was a technical fault in the engine. Due to power failure, the train had to be stopped on the spot and after necessary inspection and repair work, the train could leave for Bikaner at 9 am.

This unexpected delay also affected the movement of other trains, due to which many up-down trains passing through Abohar station departed from their timetable and arrived late. After the incident, the Railway Protection Force, showing promptness, has taken the person pulling the chain into custody, due to which the reasons for pulling the chain are being ascertained.

Considering this incident as serious, the Railway Administration has started further legal action. Railway officials have appealed to the passengers not to do activities like chain pulling without any emergency. Because this not only causes damage to railway property but also affects the safety and time of passengers.
