The Rs 177.81 crore project of rejuvenation of Yamuna Ghats near Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan has restarted after 10 years. The Irrigation Department inspected the expansion, renovation and beautification of eight ghats over 600 meters from Kesighat to Bankebihari Temple. In 2016, this project was stalled due to High Court stay and NOC. Now the target is to complete it by June 2026.

The Weather Took A U-turn In Delhi-NCR, There Was Darkness During The Day Due To Heavy Rain; The Cold Also Increased

On Friday, the weather took a sudden turn in Delhi-NCR due to strong western disturbance. Due to strong winds and heavy rain, darkness prevailed during the day, due to which the temperature dropped by more than 11 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted further drop in temperature and increase in cold from Saturday. This is the highest rainfall since January 2023.

More Than 70% Farmers May Be Deprived Of 'Samman Nidhi', Farmer ID Campaign Also Ineffective In West Champaran

More than 70 farmers in West Champaran may be deprived of the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Despite special campaigns, only 76 thousand farmers out of 2.76 lakh have been able to create Farmer ID. Registration is being hampered due to lack of registration in the names of most of the farmers. Farmers are dissatisfied with this decision, because they have been paying rent for their ancestral land for years.

Emergency Plan Implemented On Vasant Panchami In Magh Mela, Crowd Of Devotees Increased At Sangam And Many Routes Were Closed.
