After the death of 9 people in a week due to elephant attacks in West Singhbhum, the Forest Department has sought help from Reliance's Vantara. Following the incident in which three members of a family were crushed to death in Goilkera, there are plans to open a rescue center for elephants in Chaibasa. PCCF Sanjeev Kumar has directed officers to camp at the spot and meet the victims. Vantara's team will rescue the aggressive elephants and send them to Odisha.

More Than 7 Lakh Jeevika Didis Of Muzaffarpur Will Be Financially Empowered, Will Get Rs 2 Lakh Each After 6 Months

In Muzaffarpur, more than seven lakh Jeevika Didis are being empowered under the Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana. He first got Rs 10,000 each for self-employment, from which he started goat rearing, sewing etc. After six months, on the basis of inspection, they will get another Rs 2 lakh each. Additionally, 3.76 lakh workers will now get 125 days of employment instead of 100, with biometric attendance and e-KYC mandatory to prevent fraud.
