Fate of 3.76 lakh laborers will change, now employment for 125 days
Under VBGiramji (Developed India Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission), the fate of 3.76 lakh laborers of the district will change. Now they will get employment for 125 days instead of 100. To give information about this scheme, Gram Sabha has been started in Panchayats.
To prevent fraud in the scheme, now biometric attendance of workers will be made. Its process is going on. E-KYC of all laborers is being done through mobile app. E-KYC of about 70 percent workers has been done. By the end of this month, 100 percent e-KYC of workers will be done.
District Program Officer Amit Kumar said that the new scheme is being publicized. Every laborer will be given employment for 125 days in a year.
