After the voting of BCD elections, the condition in front of the High Court became worse due to filth.
Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. While people were troubled by traffic jams during the voting in the Bar Council of Delhi (BCD) elections in the capital Delhi, after the voting ended on Tuesday, the condition in front of the High Court became worse due to filth. From the pamphlets thrown by the advocates and their supporters at the time of voting, food plates became a pile of garbage on the road.
The situation on Shershah Suri Road in front of the High Court has become so bad due to filth that it looks like an unauthorized colony and not an NDMC area. Where there are heaps of garbage everywhere. At the same time, the road has been covered with pamphlets supporting the candidates to such an extent that it is difficult to recognize the road. The garbage is so much that even NDMC has lost its sweat.
Such a picture is not generally seen in New Delhi area. Being a very VVIP area, cleaning is done here with machines. Besides, NDMC also holds a good position in Swachh Survekshan due to separation of wet and dry waste.
But in the Bar Council elections, supporters of the candidates have put plates of food on the road. Due to which the food left in the plate was getting scattered here and there. The smell of leftover food was also disturbing the people passing by. Whereas due to pamphlets, such a situation was never seen before. It is noteworthy that the Delhi High Court had taken a very strict stand in the elections of Delhi University Students Union due to dirtiness. Due to which the DU administration had to take strict steps. Not only this, there has also been a reduction in the number of pamphlets distributed in support of candidates during elections. However, NDMC officials say that they have collected the garbage from two vehicles and the rest of the work is also going on.
