There was a tense atmosphere in Rajoun police station premises of Banka district on Saturday evening when the boy's relatives along with the married couple reached the police station. A dispute started between the two parties in the police station itself. The case is related to Bittu Kumar, a girl and resident of Barauni village. Both sides were continuously accusing each other. The girl alleged that she and Bittu were living together in Delhi for the last two years. During this time a love affair happened between the two. The love became much deeper. Both of them swore to live and die together. After this, both of them got married a few months ago.
Accusation of demanding dowry and refusing to keep her company
The girl said that Bittu's behavior changed after marriage. Her relatives started demanding dowry and are now refusing to keep her with them. Bittu refused to marry. Also refused to keep the girl with him. A heated argument continued for a long time between both the parties and their relatives in the police station premises.
With mutual consent, the young man agreed to adopt the girl.
The police intervened after the girl asked for legal action and filing a case. After long negotiations with the mediation of the police, a mutually agreed settlement was reached between the two parties. Ultimately Bittu agreed to marry the girl and keep her with him. After this, the police got the bond filled by both the parties and handed over the love couple to the boy's relatives. On the initiative of the police, Bittu took the girl to his home. It is being told that Bittu's marriage had been fixed somewhere else also.
