Banka Murder Case: The Young Man Left His Wife In The Hospital And Went Out With Friends, Dead Body Found In The Bushes; One Arrested

Jagran correspondent, Banka. The body of Rakesh Sharma (21), resident of Ballikitta village under Amarpur police station area in Banka district of Bihar, has been recovered from Laugay Bahiyar. In this case, the police has arrested a criminal from Parbatta in Khagaria district, while the search for other accused is going on.

Police said that Rakesh was murdered by his three friends together. The accused first strangulated Rakesh to death and then threw the body in Laugai Bahiyar. Just a few hours before the incident, deceased Sonu's wife was admitted for delivery in a private hospital in the city. After the birth of his son, Sonu had gone out by car with friends.

What caused the murder?

According to the information, the deceased Rakesh had taken a pistol and Rs 30 thousand in cash from one of his associates. Despite repeated demands, Rakesh neither returned the money nor returned the pistol.

It is said that out of anger his friends murdered him. Rakesh lived with his grandmother Veena Devi, while other family members, including his father, live in Delhi.

After Rakesh went missing from Thursday, his younger brother Dheeraj Sharma had given a written application in Amarpur police station, expressing fear of kidnapping for ransom of Rs 30,000.

At present the police is interrogating the arrested accused and continuous raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused. One of the accused includes Sajan Kumar, son of Jaiprakash Yadav, resident of Udakishunganj police station area and the other is Rupesh Kumar, son of Ramnaresh Das, resident of Bharrahi police station area.
