Dialogue thread, Rajoun (Banka). The government has directed officers to be compulsorily present in the office on Monday and Friday to listen to the problems of the general public. Despite this, the arbitrariness of officials and employees in other government offices including block and zonal is not stopping. Common people are facing huge problems due to open violation of office timings.

The situation is that many offices do not open on time and even in the offices that do open, most of the officers and workers remain missing. People coming from far away places for various works have to wait for hours, but the officials do not reach on time.

When Dainik Jagran's team visited the block and zonal office from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Monday, the complete picture of administrative negligence came to light. By 11:30 am, many important offices including BPRO, MO of Supply Department, CDPO, Labor Inspector, Revenue Officer, Circle Nazir office were found locked. The situation was even more serious on the second floor, where the BPRO office, Block Supply Office and Child Development Office were found completely closed.

However, during this time BDO Anantha Kumari, CO Kumari Sushma and RTPS counter personnel were present on time. It is said that there is no fixed time for the arrival and departure of BPRO, MO and CDPO, due to which the common man has to wait for hours to meet them.

An old man resident of Mahadevpur sat on the stairs of the block office since 10:30 in the morning and waited for the supply and revenue officer. He told that he has been circling for many days, but no officer is found on time. Similarly, Rahul Kumar kept waiting for hours to meet the Labor Inspector, but had to return disappointed.

Local people say that this has become a daily problem. While the officers are supposed to listen to the problems of the public on Monday and Friday in the Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasan program under the Bihar Government's Seven Nishchay-3 scheme, despite this, most of the officers were seen turning away from their responsibilities.
