In this, 12 people including Maulana Tauqeer Raza, Nadeem Khan, Nafees Khan have been made accused. This case was filed by Biharipur outpost in-charge Inspector Shivam Kumar in the disturbance that took place in front of the District Panchayat. Maulana Tauqeer Raza had created a disturbance in the city of Kanpur on 26 September under the guise of I Love Muhammad posters. In which not only was there a deadly attack on the police, but the police was also looted. The miscreants gathered in the crowd and pelted stones at the police. Stones were thrown from Mahadev Bridge in which many policemen were injured.
When the police resorted to lathi charge, the accused not only threw petrol bombs but also opened fire. The police's anti-rights gun and wireless were also looted. The miscreants surrounded the police and threw stones at various places including Khalil Tiraha, Naumhala Masjid, Novelty, Azam Nagar, Roadways.
Police resorted to lathicharge to control the miscreants. After this, 10 cases were registered in five police stations. In which five cases were registered in Kotwali, two in Baradari and one case each in Premnagar, Kila and Cantt. Biharipur outpost incharge Shivam Kumar had filed an FIR in the case of disturbance in front of the district panchayat.
In the case, he named three people including Maulana Tauqeer Raza, Nadeem Khan and showed 150 people anonymously. The names of nine other people came to light during the investigation. After this, the police has filed a charge sheet against 12 people in the court.

Kotwali police has filed a charge sheet against the rioting accused Tauqeer Raza Khan, Nafees, Nadeem Khan, Sameer Ali, Farhan Raza Khan, Safile Ahmed, Arif, Nadeem, Afzal Baig, Munir Idrishi, Anees Saqlaini and Farhad.
In the case filed by Biharipur outpost incharge in the case of disturbance, charge sheet has been filed in the court against 12 people including Maulana Tauqeer Raza. Investigation is ongoing in other cases.
