A young man committed suicide by hanging himself after apologizing to everyone over a video call in a family group on WhatsApp. Even the wife who reached home after this video call could not save him due to the strong iron door, she only tried to stop him from outside by swearing at him. By the time the rest of the family members arrived, it was too late.
The name of the deceased youth was Nisar, he lived here in Surya Vihar with his second wife Tamanna and worked at a hair salon. His brother Irsad told that Nisar's first wife had been living in her maternal home for about five years due to estrangement. A maintenance case is going on with him. Nisar had got married for the second time about two years ago. He was troubled due to differences with his first wife.
There was a second wife in the parents' house.
On Wednesday night his second wife Tamanna had gone to her maternal home nearby. Nisar was alone at home. At night he made a video call to his family group on WhatsApp. His brother, sister, brother-in-law, uncle and other family members are included in this group. He said, I have troubled you all a lot. Apologized to everyone for this.
Also said that now he will not trouble anyone again. The family members kept telling him that everything would be fine, but they disconnected the video call. The family members called Tamanna and asked her to reach home immediately. When she reached home, there was a strong iron door outside the room. When he called out to Nisar, he answered from inside.
Tamanna tried her best to get him to open the door by swearing, but Nisar did not listen to her and hanged himself. After some time the family members arrived. Somehow they broke the door and went inside. His brother Irsad has alleged that he had also informed the police about this, but the police arrived after one and a half hours. Palla police station has rejected these allegations and said that the police team had reached within 10 minutes, but by then Nisar had committed suicide.
