Big revelation made in NIA investigation.
Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. Investigation by the National Security Agency (NIA) has revealed that white-collar terrorists had tested explosives in Faridabad about a year before the 10/11 suicide attack near the Red Fort. This trial was conducted in Dhauj Crusher Zone, a few kilometers away from Alfalah University.
There are about 100 stone crushers in this zone. The terrorists had chosen this place so that the sound of the explosion was drowned by the intense noise in the crusher zone. Recently, during the scene re-creation, the team of Delhi Police and NIA reached the crusher zone with Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Shaheen.
The accused were interrogated
Both the accused were made to mark the place and pieces of damaged steel pipe were also recovered from the spot. The explosion was done by mixing ammonium nitrate and other chemicals in the same pipe. NIA sources said that the accused Dr. Muzzamil, Dr. Shaheen and Dr. Umar Nabi, who was killed in the suicide attack, had prepared explosives using ammonium nitrate inside Alfalah University in the year 2024.
After the explosives were ready, a trial was planned to measure the intensity. During interrogation, Dr. Shaheen told that the search for a safe place for the trial continued for several days. One night Dr. Omar told that he had found a safe place. After this, all three went for a walk in Dhauj Crusher Zone before the trial. On the day the trial took place, all three had reached the crusher zone under the guise of Aravalli excursion.
Explosives were filled in a steel pipe, stuck in a rock and detonated. Due to the explosion, a large part of the rock broke and the pipe also burst into two parts. More than 100 crushers in the zone, Faridabad Dhauj Crusher Zone, have machines for breaking, grinding and washing big and heavy stones. There are more than 100 crushers here, which have more than three hundred machines. There is a lot of noise in these.
Union Home Ministry admitted serious lapse
When it came to light that explosives were tested before the attack, NIA has accepted the gross negligence of Haryana Police and Intelligence team. According to sources, the Union Home Ministry can summon the Home Department of Haryana Police, the then DGP of Haryana and IB officers.
The PM's office is informed about the new facts that emerge in the NIA investigation. According to sources, the Union Home Ministry has considered this a very serious mistake.
