Jagran correspondent, Pakur. It is a matter of pride for Pakur district that District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Manish Kumar will be honored by President Draupadi Murmu for the Best Election District Award 2025 on 25 January 2026 at Maneksha Center in New Delhi.
The National Election Commission has recognized excellence, innovation and dedicated effort in electoral processes through this award. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Manish Kumar said that this honor is a matter of pride not only for him but for the dedicated election officers and employees of the entire Pakur district.
He said, "The credit for this success goes to the continuous hard work and commitment of all the officials and personnel of the District Election Office including BLO, BLO Supervisor, ERO, AERO. All the colleagues deserve congratulations for this glorious achievement.
Said that this award is an inspiring opportunity to take Pakur district to a new level in the field of excellence and innovation in democracy.

Pakur District Deputy Commissioner Manish Kumar was honored by President Draupadi Murmu at the “Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan” National Conference held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 17 October 2025. He was given this National Award as “Best Performing District” for his inclusive and innovative efforts in tribal development.
