Under the intensive campaign being run against liquor, on the basis of secret information, by the team formed under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar Yadav, with the help of DIU Bhagalpur, the police of Sanokhar police station have recovered 19 thousand 152 bottles 3447. 36 liters of foreign liquor in 399 cartoons from a white colored container with Amul milk written on it during vehicle checking near Bhakhri turn. Seeing the police, the driver tried to run away with the container but was chased and caught.
Container driver cum liquor smuggler Phool Muhammad, son of Mu Usman of Hussainpur Brahm Giri village of Sakra police station area of Muzaffarpur district, has been arrested. Police have seized the container and a mobile phone along with liquor. He was going towards Bhagalpur with liquor from Jharkhand. Under the direction of SSP, a team was formed under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, City Bhagalpur.
Sanokhar police station incharge Pankaj Kishore, Puani Chunni Kumari, jawan Chanchal Yadav, Ranjit Yadav, watchman Deenbandhu Paswan and Chhotu Paswan were present in the raid. Amdanda police station has arrested Mansho Mandal with 10 liters of country liquor in a raid in a snack shop in Jagannathpur.
Accused arrested in firing case
Nathnagar (Bhagalpur). Last six months ago, there was a firing in Gosai Daspur area, in which a person was shot in the hand. The police arrested a minor in this case last night.
Nathnagar Inspector Rajeev Ranjan Singh said that preventive action is being taken against the minor.
