The accused who conspired to murder a teacher arrested
Samvad Sutra, Peerpainti (Bhagalpur). The conspiracy to murder a teacher of the block was foiled by the police in time. Peerpainti police station incharge Neeraj Kumar took immediate action and arrested two accused. A loaded pistol kept for use on his trail has also been recovered. Police have also seized two mobile phones from both of them. SDPO-II Pankaj Kumar gave this information in a press conference.
Police station incharge Neeraj Kumar had received secret information that some criminals were plotting to murder a teacher. This information was given to the SSP. After this a special team was formed under the leadership of SDPO-II. The special team formed arrested both the accused from different places. SDPO-II said that both the arrested accused have revealed their conspiracy during interrogation. A raid was conducted on the behest of both and a loaded pistol hidden in a bush near Basantpur Railway Underpass was recovered. SDPO said that due to a personal dispute, a person had given a contract of Rs 50,000 for the murder of a teacher.
Both the accused were doing recce of the teacher for three days.
The murder conspiracy was foiled by taking action under technical research, intelligence collection and preventive policing. The police is searching for the third accused main conspirator in the case. The arrested accused have been identified as Satyam Kumar of Khawaspur and Kamal Kumar of Sundarpur. The raid team led by SDPO-II included Police Station Head Neeraj Kumar, Inspector Sunil Kumar, Pramod Singh and other police forces. According to the police, a conspiracy to murder was hatched over a minor dispute, but a major incident was averted by timely action. According to the police, the accused were recceing the activities of the teacher for the last three days. Although the police have released technical research, the police are also scanning the mobile phones, which is likely to yield many important clues. Police have sent both the accused to Bhagalpur in judicial custody.
