Big action of administration before Mandar Mahotsav

Communication Assistant, Bounsi (Banka). On Saturday, on the instructions of District Magistrate Navdeep Shukla, the administration took marathon action against encroachment regarding the Government Bounsi Fair cum Mandar Mahotsav. With the help of bulldozers, Nagar Panchayat Bounsi removed encroachment from Maharana Chowk to Mandar, Papaharni Fair area, Main Market, Dam Road, Station Road and other important places.

The campaign was started from Maharana Chowk. The encroachment between the main road and Maharana to Mandar Path was removed and the illegally kept goods were confiscated.

A large number of police forces were deployed from the district to conduct the action peacefully. A campaign was conducted under the leadership of Nagar Panchayat Executive Officer Sonali Kumari, in which fines were also collected from many encroachers.

Fine of more than six thousand rupees

Following instructions from the administration, a fine of more than six thousand rupees was deducted. Seeing the bulldozer action, there was panic among the encroachers and many people started removing the encroachment themselves. After the operation that lasted for more than three hours, the width of the roads became clearly visible.

13 kg banned plastic seized

In the same sequence, the Nagar Panchayat also raided single use plastic, in which 13 kg of banned plastic was seized. EO Sonali Kumari said that fines will be imposed continuously on encroachers and if they do not comply, an FIR will be registered and they will be sent to jail. SDM Raj Kumar, Sub Inspector Rakesh Kumar and other officers were present on the spot.
