Two vendors selling rat poison after applying rat poison on fruits arrested

Digital Desk, New Delhi. People eat fruits thinking that it will benefit their health, but the actions of two fruit sellers in Mumbai are not only putting the lives of customers at risk but also hurts their trust.

Actually, two fruit sellers have been arrested by the police in Mumbai. They used to spray rat poison to protect their fruits from rats. He used to sell the same fruits to the customers coming to his place. A person informed the police in this regard, after which both were arrested.

The police officer said that the accused Manoj Kumar Kesarwani and Bipin Kesarwani were selling fruits in a local market in the western suburb of Malad. Both the shops have been sealed. This action was taken after a complaint by a local resident.

The complainant had also sent the video of the accused spraying poisonous substance on the fruits to the police. The officer said that during interrogation, both of them admitted to spraying rat poison on the fruits to prevent damage caused by rats. The officer said both have been arrested and investigation is underway.
