Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. Before Holi, the heat has started showing its effect, for the first time in the month of February, the mercury crossed 30 degrees on Wednesday. Due to the average rainfall being less than 56 percent in the month of February, the heat has gained momentum. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature may go above 32 degrees before Holi. In such a situation, this time the heat will start making its heat felt before the month of June.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius, which is five degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature was 12.7 degrees Celsius, which is 0.2 degrees above normal.

There is a lot of difference in the weather in the morning and night. A mixed effect of strong sunlight during the day and mild cold at night is being seen. The relative humidity was recorded at maximum 93 percent and minimum 23 percent. Due to which there was a feeling of slight humidity in the morning and dry heat in the afternoon. The average wind speed was 2.5 kilometers per hour.

According to the information received from the Indian Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear for the next five days and there is no possibility of rain. Meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that usually the summer season starts after March 10 to 15. But this time this is happening due to the early arrival of dry season. It has not rained as much as it should have in this month.

This time in the entire eastern Uttar Pradesh including Kanpur, the ratio of the amount of rainfall in February was zero. In this, only Kanpur and its surrounding areas have received five percent rainfall. For this reason, this time the heat will be quick and scorching. He told that this time due to the longer duration of the winter season, it was expected that Lanin would be active on time and due to increase in Western Disturbance, moisture would also remain but due to lack of activity of these two due to climate change, suddenly the heat has started increasing.
