Rs 9.56 Crore Will Be Spent On Health-education-agriculture Development In Muzaffarpur, Digital Library-hostels Will Be Built.

Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Rs 9 crore 56 lakh will be spent in the district to strengthen the health and education system. In fact, on the basis of excellent performance under the Aspirational District Program, the district was given an incentive amount of Rs 10 crore by NITI Aayog.

In the light of the action plan and recommendations prepared by DM Subrata Kumar Sen, eight important development schemes have been approved by NITI Aayog at a cost of Rs 9 crore 56 lakh.

Through these schemes, the pace of development will be accelerated by strengthening the infrastructure in education, health and agriculture sectors in the district, which will change the face of the villages. Under this, various development works will be done in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kharonadih under Kudhani block at a cost of Rs 3 crore 8 lakh 3 thousand 34. Here construction of girls hostel, establishment of digital library, construction of medical room and arrangement for water purifier will be made.

Under PM Shri Yojana, girls hostel will be constructed with Rs 1 crore 20 lakh 49 thousand 374. In view of the increasing impact of information technology and communication revolution, a digital library will be constructed with a sum of Rs 1 crore 44 lakh 29 thousand 299, so that students will be able to get the facility of e-learning and online resources.

Apart from this, a medical room will be constructed at a cost of Rs 28 lakh 29 thousand 381. So that primary health facilities can be available to children in the school premises itself. To provide pure drinking water to children, 13 RO purifiers will be installed at a cost of Rs 14 lakh 95 thousand.

Arrangement of computer room, library and multipurpose hall in KGB with Rs. 4.70 crores

With the aim of providing free residential and quality education to the deprived girls of weaker sections of rural areas, a multi-purpose hall, library cum computer room will be constructed by the District Magistrate in Kasturba Gandhi Girls School at a cost of Rs 4 crore 70 lakh. This work will be done in Bochahan, Gaighat, Katra, Kudhani, Madwan, Muraul, Mushahari and Sahebganj. Apart from this, 50 health and wellness centers in the district will be equipped with essential medicines, testing equipment, delivery related materials and life saving resources.

Keeping in mind the safety and health of rural women, 24×7 maternity services will be provided in the form of First Referral Unit (FRU) in the Community Health Centers of Sadar, Paru, Muraul, Meenapur, Aurai, Kudhani and Gaighat. The facility of cesarean delivery will also be started in these centres. State-of-the-art operation theatre, delivery room, life saving equipment, blood storage unit and a special unit for the care of newborn babies will be set up.

A warehouse of 95 lakh one thousand metric tons will be constructed

A modern warehouse with a capacity of one thousand metric tons will be constructed at a cost of Rs 95 lakh for safe storage of agricultural products in Harpur Bakhari village of Kanhauli Vishundutt Panchayat under Mushahari block.

Value addition of litchi, action plan made

It was told that litchi of Muzaffarpur is world famous, and Samarpan Jeevika Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited has made it a mission to recognize this and get better prices in the market. The company is doing special work on litchi crop with 226 stakeholder farmers. Before harvest, training is given on nutrition and disease management and necessary fertilizers and medicines are provided.

Litchi is harvested, graded and packaged starting at 4 a.m. and sent as per the demand of registered buyers. The company's buyers include big names like Reliance Retail, Big Basket and Fresh Picks. Litchi is transported in a timely manner to metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad through air cargo. An action plan has been prepared for this. Funds will be spent on this work also.
