Jagran correspondent, Patna City. A potato onion trader and his brother were shot over a minor dispute late on Wednesday night in Musallahpur Haat of Sultanganj police station area.
Injured businessman Sonu (35 years) was taken to PMCH for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. His brother Akash (21 years) is undergoing treatment at PMCH.
Eastern SP Parichak Kumar, who reached the spot, said that three kiosks have been recovered. The accused involved in the incident has been identified from the surrounding CCTV footage. The accused works as a scrap dealer. FSL team has also arrived for investigation.
SP Parichay Kumar said that on Wednesday night two parties clashed over a minor issue. When the dispute escalated, the businessman and his brother were shot. The relatives of the deceased told that the staff of businessman Sonu was slapped by the adjacent shopkeeper in Musallahpur Haat. First there was tension with the sky.
After that some people came and shot Sonu in his temple, arm and leg. Akash is currently undergoing treatment at PMCH. According to police sources, the businessman was also attacked 10 years ago. Police said that investigation is going on on all aspects.
