Big announcement by Nitish government, 13 thousand acres of land will be acquired for industry in 20 districts

State Bureau, Patna. The state government is acquiring more than 13 thousand acres of land to provide a strong base to industrial activities. Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav gave this information in his budget speech.

He informed that this land is being acquired in 20 districts of the state. Apart from this, 210 acres of land is being acquired for Vikramshila University and four hundred acres of land for Sitamarhi-Shivhar new railway line. Land is being acquired for various development projects of the Central and State Government.

He said that the Revenue and Land Reforms Department is being made more useful. Special land survey is being conducted as a concrete measure to end land disputes. The survey work in 20 districts of the first phase is in the final stage. The survey has also started in 18 districts of the second phase.

The government has started Land Reform Jan Samvad in all the districts of the state under the 100-day action plan. In this, the problems of the ryots are being resolved immediately. A campaign has been launched for digitization of revenue records. Scanning of revenue map, Khatian etc. has been done.

These documents are available on the portal of Revenue and Land Reforms Department. Available to the general public. Digitization of remaining important documents will be completed in this financial year.

Errors have been rectified in the digitized Jamabandi during the Revenue Maha Abhiyan. In this sequence, errors in account, khesra, area, name etc. have been rectified. During the campaign, cases of name transfer have also been resolved expeditiously.

Verification of orthophotograph data obtained from the currently implemented Bihar Special Survey and Settlement Program and improvement in the special survey map is being done. For this, 35 centers will be established across the state. Its approval has been given.
