Nine goddesses were present in Jai Bhavani Bhavan located in the Baba Tibarinath temple complex. Awakening

Ajay Sharma, Bareilly. On the eve of Mahashivratri, a major change has taken place in the pagoda located at the ancient Baba Trivatinath temple. All the idols of Navadurga installed in the Shivalaya have been shifted and placed in her new abode, Maa Bhavani Temple. At the same time, new idols of various forms of Lord Shiv Shankar have been installed at the vacant places of the pagoda.

While Shakti Swarupa Navadurga has found her abode, now the entire Shiva temple has started looking completely Shiva-like. Devotees coming for Jalabhishek on Mahashivratri will get the experience of seeing different forms of Mahadev. According to Sanjeev Autar Agarwal, media in-charge of Baba Trivatinath Temple Seva Samiti, all the forms of Navdurga were present all around the Shivalaya.

Many times one had to go around the Shivalaya to worship Navdurga. In such a situation, the devotees coming to the temple felt that such a temple of Maa Bhavani should be built where all the forms could be seen and worshiped together. Temple Seva Samiti Minister Pratap Chandra Seth started the construction of Maa Bhavani temple in the temple premises with the foundation stone worship on 15 January 2025 last year.

Maa Bhavani temple has been built in Nagar style inspired by the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. In the temple, Sridurga Visa Yantra has been made from pink Jaipuri stone and the symbols of Sanatan are carved on the pillars and white walls.

Completing the construction of the temple in a period of just 12 months, the sanctum sanctorum, pavilion and shikhara have been prepared as per the instructions (installation of Navdhanya and Nauratnas in the foundation, prohibition of use of Navdhanya iron and cement etc.). A statue in the form of Navadurga riding on a lion has been installed in Maa Bhavani temple.

10 new forms of Bholenath made from white marble

An effort has also been made to give a modern look to the Shivalaya. 10 new forms of Bholenath made of white marble have been installed in the pagoda, which include Shivalinga, Dhyana Mudra, Adiyogi, Nandi Maharaj etc. Apart from this, the Nataraja form of Bholenath has been installed above the main gate of the Shivalaya.

Mural form will be the center of attraction

Mural forms will be the center of attraction among the devotees coming on Mahashivratri. Four mural motifs have been decorated in front of Maa Bhavani temple, which include Manohari Shiva Swaroop, Shiv Baraat, Ram Darbar and Radha-Krishna Swaroop.

Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be held from 16th to 20th February

Media in-charge Sanjeev Autar said that Navadurga Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be organized by Baba Trivtinath Temple Seva Samiti at Maa Bhavani from 16 to 20 February.

In the ceremony, bhajan-puja will be performed from 9 to 11 am from 16 to 19 February and the main Pran Pratishtha program will be held from 8 am to 11:30 am on 20 February.
