The idols of Maa Durga, Hanuman and Nandi are installed in the center of the sabha mandap, Lord Kachhapa in the west, Dattatreya in the north, Sun God in the east and Lord Vishnu in the south. Outside the temple, Kuber is seated in the north, Yamraj in the south, Varundev in the west and Indradev in the east.

Similarly, there are idols of Shani Maharaj in the stream, Adi Shankaracharya in front of the temple, Hanuman meditating on the side of Shankaracharya and Bhairava in the main road of the temple. Shiva family, Yaksha, Gandharva, Narad, Nataraja, Dwarpal and Ganesha are installed at the main gate. Mahant 108 Swami Bhavanand Puri of Tungeshwar Mahadev Temple Teung says that special worship and rituals are organized here on other religious occasions including Sawan and Magh, but the occasion of Mahashivratri is special. Devotees from far and wide gather here on this occasion.

Teung village is reached after traveling about 30 km on Rudraprayag-Gaurikund highway and about 3.5 km on Bhiri-Parakandi link motor road. Here Lord Tungeshwar can be seen at a walking distance of about 100 meters from the road.
