Jagran correspondent, Amroha. Even though the officers have lodged an FIR against JE Bhanu Pratap Singh and Babu Ashish Yadav in the case of missing files in the regulated area office, the issues that came to light during the investigation are shocking.
SDM Sadar Shailesh Kumar Dubey was misled and the license of lifetime blacklist Naksha Navis was renewed. After the matter came to light, SDM Sadar has canceled his renewal order. Also, the report has been sent to DM Nidhi Gupta Vats recommending departmental action against JE and Babu.
Along with this, the files present at the JE's residence have also been called for. There are many such files in which the SDM has given orders for action but they have not been complied with. DM Nidhi Gupta Vats had inspected the regulated area office a few days ago. In which many shortcomings were found. Some files were found missing.
CCTV cameras were also found to be faulty and files were not maintained properly. JE had told that he had some documents at home. Taking the matter seriously, the DM had given orders to the SDM to register an FIR against both of them. On which the SDM had filed a complaint against both of them in the matter of missing files.
The police had registered an FIR against him. But, the ongoing investigation by the SDM revealed that Map Navis Suhail Ahmed was blacklisted for life but both the employees had misled the SDM and got it renewed.
After this, the SDM recommended departmental action against both the employees and sent the report to higher officials. The order for renewal of license of Naksha Navis has also been cancelled.

Now the next action will be taken from their level only. All the files kept at JE's house have been summoned. In many of these files, orders for action have been made but the JE did not comply with them. The records are still being scrutinized further.
