Big Industries Are Coming On The Ground In Uttar Pradesh Through Single Window System, Became The Country's Number-1 State In De-regulation.

Promotion of investment through single window system in Uttar Pradesh

Digital Desk, Lucknow. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has now emerged as the leader among the most reliable and accessible investment destinations in the country. The impact of policy reforms and concerted efforts for ease of doing business in the last few years is now visible in the form of factories and production on the ground. As a major part of this historical change, the grand inauguration of Ashok Leyland's new plant took place in Lucknow on Friday. This inauguration, held in the presence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has given a clear message that Uttar Pradesh has now become the first choice for big global industries.

UP number-1 in de-regulation and business reforms

Uttar Pradesh has proved its industrial potential by securing first position at the national level in the “De-Regulation 1.0” program run by the Central Government. The state government has made radical changes in 23 important sectors like land, building construction, labour, environmental clearance and electricity and water. Features like flexible zoning and GIS based land banks have eliminated the old complexities. Through the “Uttar Pradesh Easy Trade Act, 2025” and the National Single Window System, permissions are now being given online and within the stipulated time frame, which has increased the confidence of investors.

Ashok Leyland: New support to employment and MSMEs

The opening of Ashok Leyland plant in Lucknow will not only increase the production capacity of the state, but it will also open new doors of direct and indirect employment for thousands of youth. This plant will also prove to be a boon for local MSME units and the entire supply chain. To give preference to industries, the government has made such a system of digital land use and online approval that now investment is not limited to files only, but is being established on the ground in the form of factories.

Labor reforms and ease of operation

The government has also made comprehensive reforms in labor laws to ease industrial operations. Steps like allowing women to work in night shifts and flexibility in working hours have provided relief to industries. Online processing of environmental licenses and other legal formalities has eliminated unnecessary delays. The provision of instant connections to electricity and water has further accelerated the pace of industries, making Uttar Pradesh now a policy-based investment destination with stability and transparent processes.

This new plant of Ashok Leyland is a living proof that the reforms of Yogi government have established the industrial identity of Uttar Pradesh on the global stage.
