318 new Anganwadi centers will open in Bihar

State Bureau, Patna. Under Mission Shakti Yojana, 318 new Anganwadi cum crèche centers will be opened in the state, which will provide great relief to working mothers in taking care of their children. At present 186 Anganwadi cum crèche homes are operating in all the districts. 1097 children are benefiting from these every day.

These crèches provide a safe, nurturing and educational environment to children. After the opening of new Anganwadi cum Creche centers, their number will increase to 504 in the state, which will increase the facilities manifold. Children can be kept in Anganwadi cum crèche from 9:15 in the morning to 6:30 in the evening.

If mothers come late to pick up their children if necessary, the crèche remains open till then. Here, like Anganwadi, children are provided hot cooked food, eggs, milk and nutritious snacks in the evening.

For proper care of children, separate areas have been arranged in the crèche home for play, rest, afternoon sleep, child-friendly toilets, food and breastfeeding.

State Bureau, Patna. Cooperative Minister Dr. Pramod Kumar on Monday inaugurated the Parivarman Darshan program in packs developed at the Deep Narayan Singh Regional Cooperative Management Institute campus in Patna. He flagged off the presidents and managers of 25 PACS as the first group.

The Minister said that the successful models of the developed PACS will be studied and other PACS will also be inspired to adopt innovation and diversification in their field of work, which will increase their income and provide more facilities to the farmers.

Experimental work will be done on the model of successful PACS. The Minister said that the PACS presidents and managers who are on tour will also have to submit study reports. So that, on the basis of the report, experimental and innovative work can be started in other packs also.

This will make the functioning of PACS more transparent, accountable and result oriented. Department Secretary Dharmendra Singh, Registrar Rajneesh Kumar Singh, Joint Registrar Kameshwar Thakur and other officials were present in the program.
