Girl molested in car (symbolic picture)
Jagran correspondent, Kolkata. A serious case of a girl being forcibly dragged into a car and molested has come to light in the Kasba area of Kolkata. The incident is said to have happened on New Ballygunge Road in Kasba police station area on Friday night at around 11 pm.
The victim lodged a written complaint at the Kasba police station on Saturday, on the basis of which the police have registered an FIR against the five accused and started investigation.
Flirting inside the car
According to the complaint, a black four-wheeler stopped in front of the girl and some youths in it forcibly pulled her into the car. It is alleged that she was molested inside the car.
The victim has filed a complaint against five people, two of whom have been clearly named, while three others are unknown. According to the police, raids are being conducted at possible locations to identify and arrest the accused. CCTV footage of the area is also being scrutinized.
