Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. Flights from Hindon Airport to 12 cities which were temporarily closed in winter have now been stopped permanently. Of these, seven flights of Air India, three flights of Fly Wig and one city flight each of Indigo and Star Air have been canceled permanently. At present there are flights to 11 cities from Hindon Airport.
A mail was sent to all the airlines companies by the Director of Hindon Airport regarding the closed flights, but till now no response has been received from anyone. Hindon Airport Director Dr. Chilka Mahesh said that flights were stopped for some time in winter. It was to be operated again in February. But now these flights have been stopped permanently.
Flights stopped in these cities
Flights from Hindon Airport to Goa, Kolkata, Varanasi, Patna, Jammu, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Kishangarh, Dehradun and Jaipur have been stopped.
