Troubled by the torture of the young man, the woman hanged herself.
Dialogue partner, Lonnie. A woman committed suicide by hanging herself in Paramhans Vihar Colony of Loni Border police station area on Saturday morning. The deceased's husband alleges that the wife committed suicide after being harassed and beaten by a young man. On the complaint of the husband, the police have registered a report against the young man and his parents.
ACP Ankur Vihar Gyan Prakash Rai said that Sudha, a 28-year-old woman living in Paramhans Vihar Colony, had hanged herself from the girder of the roof in the early hours of Saturday. In this case, the woman's husband Shivam lodged a complaint accusing the young man living in the neighbourhood, of breaking into the house, assaulting his wife, abusing and torturing her.
He told that after coming to know that his wife was being harassed, he along with his wife reached the young man's house and complained to his parents. On which all three misbehaved with the couple and drove them away from the house. Hurt by the young man's harassment and indecency by his relatives, the wife committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan.
ACP said that on the complaint of the victim's husband, the police have registered a report against the young man and his parents and have started investigating the matter.
