Samvad Sutra, Chandan (Banka). The process of making Farmer ID in the block area is becoming a cause of serious trouble for the farmers. A large number of farmers are deprived of Farmer ID due to minor differences in the spelling of names in land papers, Aadhar cards and other documents. In many cases, additional problems are being faced in verification due to the land being registered in the name of ancestors.

According to the information, about 26 thousand beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are registered in the block, but till now only about 2500 farmers have been able to create Farmer ID.

Among these, there are some farmers whose ID has been made, but due to documentary errors, they are not able to get the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. The Farmer ID of the remaining farmers is stuck due to discrepancies related to name and land.

Many farmers say that if this problem is not resolved in time, they will be deprived of the benefits of other government schemes including PM Kisan. It has been demanded from the administration that the process of document correction should be simplified.
