IAS Shivankshi Dixit becomes new Municipal Commissioner of Bettiah
Jagran correspondent, Bettiah. Indian Administrative Service officer of 2021 batch Shivankshi Dixit has become the new Municipal Commissioner of Bettiah. Before this, his posting was on the post of Municipal Commissioner in Munger Municipal Corporation.
According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department of the Government of Bihar, now he has been posted on the post of Bettiah Municipal Commissioner.
IAS Shivakshi Dixit is already familiar with this district. During training, he was posted as Assistant District Magistrate in the district on 16 July 2022. During the training period, she was in charge of BDO and CO in Lauria. She was also in charge of the Municipal Commissioner of Bettiah from 19 March 2023 to 26 March 2023.
Because of this, he is also familiar with the climate of Bettiah Municipal Corporation. At present there is a situation of conflict regarding political supremacy in the Municipal Corporation.
In such a situation, the posting of Shivakshi Dixit as Municipal Commissioner is likely to give impetus to development, while 2021 batch IAS officer Municipal Commissioner Laxman Tiwari has been transferred to Saran Chapra.
He has become the Deputy Development Commissioner of Chhapra. He will also hold the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer of Chhapra Zilla Parishad.
