State Bureau, Patna. Bihar Judicial Services Association has expressed strong protest against the remarks made by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha against the judiciary. In this matter, the Sangh has written a letter to the Chief Minister and the Governor of the state, condemning the statement of the Minister and demanding an apology.

In the letter, Union Secretary and Gaya District and Additional Sessions Judge Ajit Kumar Singh has cited a video clip being circulated on social media. In which the Minister is saying that a judge, who decided a case quickly, may have done so because of vested interests.

The association said such comments, especially those made by members of the executive, can hinder the administration of justice and prevent judges from discharging their duties fearlessly.

The letter said that public criticism of the judiciary should be restrained, informed and based on constitutional propriety. If a case has to be reported to the High Court, as stated and heard in the video, it should be done in the prescribed manner.

This kind of thing is not expected from the comments of the Deputy Chief Minister which are being circulated. The letter said Sinha should consider the consequences of his statements and apologize for his comments.
