Dialogue Associate, Roorkee. Relief news is coming from the Railways for the passengers preparing to travel home on the occasion of Holi.
In view of Holi, Railways is going to operate Holi special train from Amritsar to Patna, which will stop at many major stations including Roorkee.
In view of the additional rush of passengers, the Railways has scheduled a total of six trips of two pairs of special trains.
Senior Commercial Manager of Moradabad Division informed that Holi special will operate as train number 04664 (Amritsar to Patna) and 04663 (Patna to Amritsar).
This train will depart from Amritsar Junction on February 27, March 2 and March 5, while the return train from Patna will run on February 28, March 3 and March 6.
The stoppage of the special train has been given at various major stations including Roorkee, Saharanpur and Moradabad, which will provide special facilities to the passengers of Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Heavy crowd is seen in trains every year during Holi, hence this special service is expected to provide relief to the passengers.
The Railway Administration has appealed to the passengers to use only the Railway's authorized app NTES for information related to train operations and timings.
The train has arrangements of AC, sleeper and general coaches, so that passengers of all classes can travel comfortably.
Along with the colors of Holi, this rail service is also being considered an important step towards making the travel of passengers easy and safe.
