Communication partner, Jamui. SP has taken strict action after the sensational incident of robbery by five criminals at the residence of a retired civil surgeon under Gidhaur police station area of the district.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, Superintendent of Police Vishwajit Dayal has suspended Gidhaur police station incharge Dinanath Singh with immediate effect on charges of inaction in crime control.
According to the letter issued, during the suspension period, Police Station Head Dinanath Singh has been placed on normal living allowance and his headquarters has been fixed at Police Centre, Jamui.
This action taken by the SP has created a stir in the police department of the district and a clear message has been given that any kind of negligence in crime control will not be tolerated.
It is being told that after the robbery incident at the house of a retired civil surgeon, there was a lot of anger among the local people and questions were being raised on the working style of the police.
In the same sequence, after preliminary investigation, this action was taken considering the role of the police station incharge as not satisfactory. At the same time, till the new police station chief is posted in Gidhaur police station, Additional Police Station Chief Jaiprakash Kumar Singh has been given the charge of law and order and daily administrative work of the police station.
The SP has assured that raids have been intensified to arrest the robbery accused and the case will be revealed soon.
