A symbolic picture has been placed in it.
Jagran correspondent, Sitamarhi. The hassle of running for months for papers after retirement is now going to end. A new system has been implemented in the district to provide terminal benefits to retiring teachers and employees on the day of their retirement.
District Program Officer (Establishment), Sitamarhi has issued necessary instructions in this regard to the headmasters of all the identified middle schools. It has been said in the issued letter that documents related to their due benefits should be provided to the concerned teacher, teacher or employee on the scheduled date of retirement.
For this, it should be ensured that the documents of earned leave, group insurance, gratuity and other retirement benefits are prepared and sent to the district office in time, so that there is no delay in the payment process.
The District Program Officer has clarified that it will be the responsibility of the headmaster of the identified middle school of the block where the retiring teacher or employee is working to request the concerned person to attend the retirement benefit function organized in the district office at 4 pm on the date of retirement.
During the ceremony he will be handed over the necessary documents and bid farewell. The objective of the department is that retired teachers should get their entitlements paid on time and they should not have to visit offices.
It is often seen that there is a delay in the payment of retirement benefits due to the paperwork not being completed or the records not being available on time. Under the new system, initiatives have been taken to end this problem.
The District Program Officer said that all the concerned head teachers should ensure to provide the necessary records in a timely manner. Termination benefits will be distributed by adopting a transparent and well-organized process as per departmental instructions.
There is an atmosphere of satisfaction among the teachers of the district due to this initiative. Teachers believe that getting benefits on the day of retirement is not only respectable but also reflects the sensitivity of the administration.
