Jagran correspondent, Patna. Along with cold, pollution is also affecting health. The most polluted area in the capital was Muradpur, where AQI was recorded at 200. At the same time, the air quality index (AQI) of Danapur was 184, that of Patna City was 114, 167 near Taramandal and 144 AQI was recorded near Rajvanshi Nagar.

During the last 10 days, the air in Danapur remained better on Friday than before. At the same time, the air of three cities of the state, Biharsharif, Kishanganj and Hajipur, remained the most polluted on Friday. Hajipur's AQI was 220, Kishanganj's 210 and Bihar Sharif's AQI 207.

The air of seven cities of the state, Bettiah, Katihar, Chapra, Samastipur, Arrah, Saharsa and Motihari was more satisfactory than before. At the same time, Rajgir, Patna, Bhagalpur, Aurangabad, Begusarai, Araria, Gaya, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Sasaram and Siwan remained among the moderately polluted cities.

The reason for improvement in pollution levels is change in weather. The air has improved due to reduction in the density of pollution due to reduction in wind speed, effect of fog and falling of dew drops. Prabhat Ranjan reports on air quality in Danapur in the capital during 10 days.

The air here is satisfactory

Note: AQI in all cities ranges between 116 to 173, which falls in the moderately polluted category. Sensitive people (children, elderly, respiratory patients) should spend less time outside and use masks.
