Bihar Weather Today: Bihar Will Not Get Relief From Cold, Warning Of Cold Day In 11 Districts

Jagran correspondent, Patna. A warning has been issued regarding cold day with dense fog in the state till December 31.

Kankani will increase along with Pachhua along with dense fog in different parts of the state. According to Meteorological Center Patna, there is a possibility of cold day in 11 districts of Jamui, Banka, Bhagalpur, Munger, Vaishali, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Shivhar on Friday.

During this period, the influence of Kankani will remain in these districts. The effect of dense fog will remain in all the districts including the capital. Moderate to dense fog is expected in most parts during four to five days.

The state's lowest minimum temperature of 6.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Saharsa (Agwanpur) on Thursday. The minimum temperature of the capital was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius. Cold day conditions with dense fog persist in Purnia, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Madhubani districts of the state.

The effect of Kankani continued with dense fog in other districts including Patna. The maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 18.4 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded in Kishanganj at 23.0 degrees Celsius. Gayaji and Bhagalpur recorded the lowest visibility at 20 metres.

The densest fog was seen in Gayaji and Bhagalpur and moderate fog in other parts including Patna. The minimum temperature in cities like Bhagalpur, Sabour, Gaya, Purnia, Madhubani etc. was recorded below 10 degrees Celsius. A decline was recorded in the maximum temperatures of Jehanabad, Aurangabad, Gaya and Chapra including Patna.

Temperature of major cities

The maximum temperature of Patna was 18.4 and minimum 12.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Gayaji was 18.6 and minimum 8.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Bhagalpur was 19.2 and minimum 17.0 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the maximum temperature of Muzaffarpur was 19.0 and minimum 16.2 degrees Celsius.
