Jagran correspondent, Rampur. Dan Singh Yadav, who lost his wife and son in the car fire, was acquitted in a case only 22 days ago. Dan Singh and his family were very happy after being acquitted in the case. In the meantime he had bought a new car. There was double happiness in the family. He had gone to Nainital on Wednesday to celebrate this happiness with his wife and child, but his happiness was unnoticed. The accident that took place late on Wednesday night while returning from Nainital took the lives of his wife Rakshi Lata and three-year-old son Avansh alias Laddu.

Dan Singh Yadav, resident of village Behtra of Milak Kotwali area, had a happy family. He drives cars on rent. Some of his vehicles are also installed in government departments. His father Indal Singh is a home guard, while his wife Lata was a police constable and was currently posted in Shravasti district. On Wednesday, Dan Singh had gone to Nainital with his wife, son and cousin brother Ravi in ​​a Swift car.

Dan Singh was driving the car. While returning from there, a dumper hit the car near Kashipur village of Thana Ganj area, due to which the car caught fire. Dan Singh and Ravi saved their lives by coming out, but the wife and son got trapped inside. By the time both of them were rescued with the help of the villagers, the son had died. The wife was seriously burnt.

He was first taken to Sanjeevani Hospital located at Shahzadnagar Bypass. Referred after first aid. Relatives took him to Bareilly, but he also died on the way. His cousin brother Ravi is undergoing treatment at Sanjeevani Hospital. On getting information about this tragic incident in the family, villagers, relatives and acquaintances reached the district hospital on Thursday morning.

On behalf of Dan Singh, a complaint regarding the incident was given to Ganj Kotwali police. Additional Superintendent of Police Anurag Singh said that an FIR has been registered regarding the incident. Instructions have been given to Ganj Kotwal regarding searching the dumper driver.

FIR was filed five years ago on charges of making indecent remarks on the Chief Minister.

Milak Kotwali police had registered an FIR against Dan Singh in the year 2021, in which he was accused of making indecent remarks on the Chief Minister. After investigation, the police filed the charge sheet against him in the court. Dan Singh Yadav's advocate Ashok Kumar Yadav said that the court had given its verdict in this case on February 4, in which Dan Singh Yadav was acquitted as the charges were not proved.
